Barbara Shore, 64, died Wednesday, November 26,2014.

Services will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at Powersville United Methodist Church, 245 Lakeview Road, Byron, with Rev. Quinn Hammock officiating. Family will greet friends beginning at 2:00PM and funeral service will begin at 3:00PM. Burial will follow in Byron City Cemetery.

Born in Byron to the late Lawrence Emmitt Preston and Emma Augusta Dunn Preston, Mrs. Shore was a homemaker and member of Powersville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children, Shirley Goen (Jimmy), Peggy Rogers (Ricky), Kimberly Walker (Mark), and Amy Smith (Ricky); 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Juanita Swindell (Jim), and Fredonia Preston. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edward Shore, and a grandson, Seth.
