Miss Mabel Chancelor, aged 22, of Evergreen community died at Minden July 8. She was a young lady just entering the period in anyone's life when they really mean something to the world.
The burial ceremony was held at Evergreen. Rev. A.T. Pickett conducted the services.
Miss Chancelor resided in this parish all of her life. Her father preceded her in death 14 years ago.
Those surviving Miss Chancelor are: (Mother) Mrs. Josie Chancelor, Minden, La., one brother, T.J. Chancelor, and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Hobbs.
