Death of Frank Collins
Frank E. Collins died at his home in Thornton, March 16, 1903, aged 45 years and 23 days. The funeral services were conducted at his late home on March 19, by Rev. H. C. Weaver of the M. E. church of Cherry Creek. Interment in Valley View cemetery, Ellington.
Mr. Collins leaves to mourn him a wife, Carrie Collins, and two daughters, Grace and Creta, also a father, Harry Collins, who resides at Conewango Valley. He was known as a kind husband, a self-sacrificing and indulgent father, and a dutiful son, and he was honorable in his dealings with his fellow men. Although afflicted for many years with asthma he bore his sufferings with manly fortitude. His kind and genial ways and ready wit made him one whom it was a pleasure to meet by all who knew him. M.
