Robert was one of the sweetest and most gentlest souls, he came to Northwest Airlines, now Delta Airlines later in his life as an interpreter for KLM flights. He fought a long hard battle with cancer for almost 7 years, never once complaining and working up till nearly the end. He represents the positive nature that was always admirable about him. About 3 months before his passing a group of us that he worked with visited him and the entire time he was extremely hospitable. He was so happy to catch up on all that he missed those last months at work and was very happy to slip away into that world for the day. We were grateful to have that time with him. Robert will be very much missed.
