In the 1930 US census Charles & Flora are running a boarding house in Pleasant, Clark, South Dakota. Living with them is a 17 year-old, born in Illinois, step son, Floyd Duncan who works as a house painter. Charlie Cook is the son of Samuel W Cook, this cemetery.The remains of Charles Cook, who died at his home in Vienna, SD, arrived in Normal last evening and were taken to the home of Mrs. Levi Dillon. They will be interred in Evergreen City Cemetery. Flora E. Duncan married Charles Cook about 1892, but where is not known. They are listed on the 1900 U. S. Census living in Pleasant Township, Clark County, SD with her son Floyd Duncan.
