Victoria -- Margaret Braun, 85, died Monday, Dec. 28, at St. John's Rest Home. She was born Sept. 17, 1896 in Victoria, the daughter of Anton and Mary Dreiling.

She married Andrew A. Braun. He died Sept. 26, 1973.

Survivors include one son, Andrew E, Victoria; two daughters, Mrs. Julius Catherine Dreher, Hays, and Mrs. Clem Beatrice Brungardt, Bement, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Henry Clara Speier, Hays; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; St. Fidelis Cemetery. A parish wake will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria. Friends can visit at the mortuary from 7 p.m. tonight until funeral time.
