He was born Sept. 3, 1894 in Russia.
At age 15, he came to the United States and moved to Victoria shortly afterwards. He had lived in Victoria since. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of the home; a son, Andrew E., Victoria; two daughters, Mrs. Clem (Beatrice) Brungardt, Bennett, Ill., and Mrs. Julius (Catherine) Dreher, Hays; a sister, Mrs. Clara Scanlon, Edmonton, Canada; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Three sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Fidelis Church in Victoria. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
