Clara C. Lambert, 78, of Albany, GA, died November 24, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Interment will follow Monday, December 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Andersonville National Cemetery.

A native of Macon, GA, born to the late Thomas and Julia Waters Curry, Mrs. Lambert grew up in Savannah, GA, graduated from Savannah High School and attended Armstrong Junior College. She had resided in Albany, GA since 1977 moving from Orlando, FL. Mrs. Lambert was employed as an accounting clerk with Hughey-Neuman, Inc., before retiring in 1998. She was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church and the Esther Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her husband, Pat Lambert of Albany, GA, a son, Jimmy Lambert and his wife, Wanda of Athens, GA, a daughter, Lea Pein of Tucson, AZ, two sisters, Betty Rigan of Henderson, NC and Jimmy Harms and her husband, Richard of Myrtle Beach, SC, one grandchild.
