Bruce was born January 4, 1959 in Youngstown, a son of J.M. Coppola and Beverly Dovich Patrick.
A lifelong resident of Lowellville, Bruce was a 1977 graduate of Lowellville High School. Bruce owned and operated his own construction business called Coppola Corporation since 1977.
He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Society in Lowellville and the Ellsworth Sportsman's Club. In his free time, Bruce enjoyed training his horses and had a passion for corvettes.
Bruce is survived by his father, J.M. (Sara) Coppola of Mercer; mother, Beverly (James Jr.) Patrick of Hubbard; his companion of over 20 years, Rene Thayer, with whom he made his home; daughter of his heart, Grace Thayer and granddaughter, Isabel Thayer of Lowellville; and three sisters, Cynthia (Andrew) Naples of New Castle, Cheryl Coppola, and Barbara (Edward) Estok, both of Lowellville.
Interment will be at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
