Appling, Ga. - Patrick J. Coleman Jr. passed away at home on October 29, 2014, at the age of 58. Joe was born in Frankfurt Germany on January 1st 1956. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Joe is survived by his daughters, Carrie Lynn Coleman Newman (Scott) and Shannon Renee Coleman Manners (Andy) and their mother Betty Norris; his father Patrick J. Coleman brothers Michael C. Coleman (Linda), Robert E. Coleman (Velda), Barbara Ellis (Randy), Kenneth W. Coleman (Jennifer), and Joy Lynn Lowe (Jason) all of Columbia County; His grandchildren Michael Shane Newman, Alicia Newman, Ashlynn Newman, Riley Manners and Drew Manners were the light of his life.

Uncle Joe will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, Mike, Matt, Mandy, Stephanie, Robby, Joey, Jayme, Jeffrey, Morgan, Alex, Kenny, Meghan, Davey, Alyssa, Brian and Isabella.

He is loved and will be sorely missed by his large and extended family. He valued family and spent his last years as a much needed companion and friend to his father. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He had a deep and abiding faith in God with whom he has now gone home to.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara E. Coleman.

If so desired, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 2, 2014, in Bellevue Memorial Gardens with the Reverend George James officiating
Active Pallbearers will be Michael Coleman, Robert Coleman, Kenneth Coleman, Randall Ellis, Bill Bascino and Dale Wigginton.
