Annabelle Robins, 87, of Shelbyville, died this morning, Sept. 10, 2002, at the home of her daughter.

Born Sept. 26, 1914, in Anderson, she was the daughter of Charles and Alla (Hanna) Thomas. She married David Robins on Oct. 13, 1934, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1996.

Survivors include one son, Tommy Robins of Shelbyville; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Sally S.) Sweet of Shelbyville; two brothers, Earl Thomas of Anderson and William Thomas of Indianapolis; one sister, Ruth Wood of Indianapolis; three granddaughters, Rene Lummer of Santa Rosa, Calif., Robin Tillie of Indianapolis and Dannette Erickson of Shelbyville; and four great-grandchildren, Dana Tillie, Daniel Tillie, Nyla Lummer and Evan Lummer.

She also was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Mrs. Robins was a bookkeeper for Robin?s TV & Appliances, retiring in 1976.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a former member of Eastern Star, Homecraft Club and Junior Coterie.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, 34 W. Washington St., with the Revs. Tom True and Robert Campbell officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Carmony-Ewing Broadway Street Funeral Home, 232 W. Broadway St.
