KELSO - Thomas J. Drury, 44 years old, of Kelso, died at his farm home Friday, apparently of a heart attack. He was born Dec 17, 1925, at Kelso, and was married to the former Miss Rita Vetter on Feb 21, 1950. She survives at the Kelso home.
Other survivors include three sons, Joseph Drury, Cape Girardeau, William Drury and Robert Drury, both at home; three daughters, Miss Susan Drury, Miss Mary Drury, and Miss Margaret Ann Drury, all at home; his father, Lambert Drury, Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Charles Drury and Jerry Drury, both of Kelso, Jim Drury and Bob Drury, both of Cape Girardeau; and four sisters, Mrs. Theon Schlosser, Illmo, Mrs. Martin Jansen, Kelso, Mrs. Dave Pfeiffer, Cape Girardeau, and Mrs. Ted Hahn, Perryville.
Mr. Drury was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Kelso and the Men's Sodality. The body is at the Bisplinghoff Funeral Home in Illmo where friends may call after 5:30 this afternoon. The Rosary will be recited Sunday night at 8 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday morning at 10 at St. Augustine's Church with the Rev. Justin Brauner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
