Clarence Gallashaw II, the four-year-old son of Belinda Allen and Clarence Gallashaw Sr., of the 3000 block of Hale Court, died Aug. 26, 1993, in Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, Norfolk. Clarence was born in Portsmouth. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Krystal Allen of Portsmouth; a brother, Clayton Gallashaw of Portsmouth; a maternal grandmother, Barbara Allen; a great-grandmother, Mamie Shacklock of Portsmouth; a great-grandfather, Edwin Shacklock of Norfolk; a paternal grandfather, Odell Ming Jr. of Portsmouth; and two uncles, Shane Allen and Odell Ming III, both of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, by Chaplain Evelyn Keever. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at noon Tuesday in the funeral home.
