Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Bohne, 83, of 3154 Buena Vista St.,
Madison, mother of Mrs. Roland Landt, of 2315 Lincoln Ave., Two Rivers,
who died in a Madison nursing home last Tuesday after a long illness,
were at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Gunderson Funeral Home, Madison, and at
10 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Madison, the Rev. William
Egggers officiating. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Madison.
Pallbearers were Harold and Cyril Bohne, James Roth, Richard Cooley,
Michael Karls and Warren Landt.
Mrs. Bohne, nee Elizabeth Wagner, was born at Kewaunee Jan. 23, 1877,
a daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth Hoffman Wegner. In 1893
she was married at Kewaunee to William Bohne, who died there 20 years
ago. After her husband's death she moved to Two Rivers to reside with
her daughter, Mrs. Landt, and 15 years ago she went to Madison to make
her home with her late son Cyril, and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth
Bohne, at Madison.
Surviving are another daughter, Mrs. Thomas Kerchenfaut of Warsaw,
Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Hoffman of Kewaunee, Mrs. Catherine
Zinkel of Escanaba, Mich., Mrs. Charles Silem of San Francisco,
Calif., and Mrs. Pauline King of Vallejo, Calif.; 10 grandchildren
and 11 great grandchildren."
