Mrs Leathers lived in Madison County most of her life. She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church in Hatchie, TN.
She leaves her husband, JM Leathers, whom she married on Oct 27, 1895 in Madison County, TN; a son, Iva Lee Leathers of Memphis; two brothers, George Taylor of Mercer and Ause Taylor of Madison Hall; a sister, Mrs Sallie Perry of Lexington, TN.
