Alexis Roy, son of Alexis Roy and Rose Vallière, was born and baptized on 5 Apr 1815 at Saint Gervais, Bellechasse, Québec, Canada. He married Adelaide Goulet, daughter of Joseph Goulet and Monique Lebrun, on 25 Jul 1836 at Saint Gervais. Alexis was widowed in 1853. He died at age 64 and was interred in the parish cemetery of Saint Anselme on 13 Jan 1880.
