Crowley, La., Nov. 14 - Eugene Campbell, aged 25 years, a successful and highly respected merchant of this place after a brief illness, died this morning. Mr. Campbell was a son of W. P. Campbell, mayor of Crowley, and by his upright character during the nine years he spent in this town he won a host of friends, who deeply lament his death. The interment will take place to-morrow afternoon in the Crowley cemetery, when the business houses will be closed and the merchants will attend the funeral in a body."
