Mrs. Laura Prawat, 73, of 1726 S. Nash St., died Friday at her home after a sudden illness. She was born Oct 15, 1897 in Manistee, Michigan.
She lived here almost all her life. On May 23, 1920 at New Carlisle she was married to John Prawat. he died May 25, 1970.
Surviving are a son, Ralph, a daughter, Mrs. Joan Bankowski, a grandchild and a great grandchild, two brothers, Stanley and Edward Wroblewski, all of South Bend, five sisters, Mrs. Theresa Starr of New York City, Mrs. Mary Moroney of Dowagiac, Mrs. Sadie Grams, Mrs. Gertrude Laskowski, Mrs. Carrie Dudzindki, all of South Bend.
Friends may call Monday at the St. Joseph Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday at Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Sabo, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
