Josephine F. Young, age 90, East Logan Avenue, DuBois, PA died Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Christ the King Manor.
Born August 19, 1924 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Pauline (Sinkiewich) Benny.
She was married to Roger Young. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2006.
She was a homemaker and worked at Sylvania in Brookville.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed being with her family, especially being with her grandchildren. She loved to knit and read.
Josephine is survived by her children: James Young and Marcy Ferraraccio and her husband, Frank, all of DuBois, PA and Thomas Young and his wife, Judy of Williamsport, PA, her sister, Grace Gavazzi and her husband, Dick of Weedville, PA, three grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children, Dan and Becky Young, and two sisters, Florence Dragunas and Isabelle Johnston.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10 A.M. from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
