DEATH CLAIMS JOSEPH LAY AFTER A LONG ILLNESS
Joseph Coleman Lay, a resident of this city during the past five years died at his home Thursday night of carcinoma. He was 68 years of age and for years was a well known citizen of Escalante. He is survived by a wife, five daughters and three sons. He had been ill during the whole of last fall and the present winter. The funeral services will be held Monday at the third ward chapel.
