John Jakubek, 39, of 391 W. 8th St., was electrocuted Saturday while working at his cottage on Lake Comstock.
Born in Duluth, he was a life-long resident. He was the owner and operator of the Arrowhead Waste Paper & Box Co. and a veteran of World War II. He was awarded the Purple Heart after serving in the European Theater. He was a member of the Zenith City Post of the American Legion.Surviving are his wife,Gene; two sons, Jay and Jeffrey, and a daughter, Gerri; his mother, Mrs. K. S. Oles; three sisters Mrs. Edward Abrahamson, Mrs. William Abrahamson and Mrs. Edward Mahai, and a brother Raymond, all of Duluth
