Edweidyne was born on April 25, 1926, in Boynton Township, Tazewell County, Ill., to Joseph and Florence (Kuszmaul) Kaufmann. She married Delbert Nizzia on Oct. 5, 1946, in Pekin. He passed away on July 8, 1988.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, Delbert and Jeffry Nizzia; one sister, Patricia Bright; and one brother, Marlowe Kaufmann, missing in action during World War II.
Surviving are two sons, Anthony Nizzia of Pekin and Joe (Jill) Nizzia of Cuba, Ill.; one daughter, Marilyn VanWagoner of Fairview, Texas: and two sisters, Geneva (Robert) Shelton of Boseman, Mont., and Jotana Gardner of Livingston, Mont.
Edweidyne was a member of the Pekin Union Mission.
She enjoyed fishing, camping and making crafts.
Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
