David L. Rhoades Sr., 63, Lebanon, died Monday, April 3, 2006, in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Mary M. Davis Rhoades. He was born in Minersvillage May 31, 1942, a son of the late Clarence and Margaret Good Rhoades. He was employed for the last 33 years with Brightbill Body Works, Lebanon. He formerly attended the United Christian Church of Colebrook and he enjoyed working on cars. Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Viola M. Hoy, Annville, David L. Rhoades Jr. and wife Linda Rhoades, Myerstown, Richard W. Rhoades, Lebanon, Florence E. Rhoades, Rexmont; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Eunice May and Nadine Darkes both of Lebanon, Jeanette Moody, Jonestown, Robin Rhoades, Philadelphia; brothers, Russell Rhoades and Dallas Dull both of Lebanon, Rodney Rhoades, Mt. Wilson. He was preceded in death by one sister and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Saturday at Rohland Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment in Grand View Memorial Park. [Lebanon Daily News]
