He must have lived near Enoch Osborne who was ordered to appraise his estate on 17 Jun 1824.
William and Stephen Jones were executors of the estate. Samuel is buried in Mouth of Wilson, Grayson Co., Virginia.
Samuel died along the road on a trip from Wise Co., Virginia to Grayson Co., Virginia and was buried along side the road close to where he died.
He married Celia Creech of Grayson County, Virginia.
Celia was born in 1764 in Rowan Co. NC, parents as yet unknown.
d. Jan 1853 in Turkey Cove, Lee County, Virginia where she had gone to live with her children after Samuel's death.
Celia is believed to have been the daughter of Stephen Creech.
