BOLIVAR - Debra A. Knight, 59, of 68 Liberty St., passed away Thursday (Nov. 13, 2014) shortly after arrival at Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville.
Born Nov. 26, 1954, in Olean, she was the daughter of Eldon and Audrey Burlingame Hewitt. On July 10, 1971, in Olean, she married Fredrick N. Knight Sr., who survives.
Debra attended the West Clarksville rural school and, later, Richburg Central School.
While she was primarily a homemaker most of her life, she worked for a while for Burns Security, Olean, as a security guard.
She was a wonderful mother and wife who provided the greatest and strongest love and guidance for her family.
She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and camping, and she attended the Southside Union Chapel, Olean.
Surviving, besides her husband, are five children, Crystal Knight and Wendy Knight, both of Richburg, Fredrick (Teresa) Knight Jr. of Bradford, Pa., Shannon Knight of Farmington and Kelly Knight of Bolivar; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Cliff (Laurie) Hewitt of Portville; two sisters, Paula (Robert) Doxey of Portville and Marcia (Todd) Metz of Richburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Gayla Arlia.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
