OBITUARY: James Huppert, 48

James Huppert, 48, a native of the Ellsworth community, died Wednesday, September 26 in Straub Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. He had lived in Hawaii several years.

The funeral service was held in St. Francis Catholic Church on Monday, October 1, with the Rev. Father Michael McKenna officiating. Burial was made in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery at Big River.

The deceased was born April 18, 1931. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Huppert of El Paso Township.

Surviving is a daughter, Jennifer of Honolulu; five brothers, Cyril, Leo and Chester of Ellsworth, Clair of Lake Elmo, Minnesota and Bernard of Los Angeles, California; five sisters, Mrs. Lee (Dorothy) Schwartz of Prairie du Sac, Mrs. Sylvester (Mildred) Alt of Janesville, Mrs. Willard (Teresa) Hines of Ellsworth, Mrs. Eugene (Leona) Miller of Elmwood and Mrs. Richard (Joan) Risler of Menomonie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Norbert and Jerome.
