Mrs. Ruby Lanning age 78 widow of the late Bert F. Lanning passed away Friday at Osteopathic Hospital.
Surviving are:

Mrs. Norman (Virginia) Alexis (deceased); Mrs. Vernon (Betty) Downs, Sr (deceased); Mrs. Floyd (Louise) Ward (deceased); Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Peters (deceased); Mrs. John (Lela) Jeannot; Mrs. Arthur (Linda) Steffes; Mrs. Eugene (Blanch) Kuiper.
A grandson Bernard Yeaw with whome she lived and 70 other grandchildren, 63 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Services will be held Mon at. ll.30 at Zaagman Memorial Chapel Rev. Robert McBroom of the South Kent Baptist Church of which she was a member officiating.
Internment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Family will be at Chapel Friday and Sat Eve 7-9 Sunday 2-4 and 7-9.
Grandma Lanning had 2 daughters die in their teens. They are: Francis Loraine Owens passed away on Oct 17, 1937 at the age of 17; Marjorie A Gibbs passed away on July 17, 1943 at the age of 16.
