Philip Rodgers, 61 of Earlington, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at his home. He was born December 3, 1952 in Madisonville to the late Author and late Mayme (Carroll) Rodgers. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Lonestar Pentecostal Church.
Also preceded in death by two infant sisters, Sharon and Karen.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Ladd Rodgers; sons, Chris (Cindy) Rodgers and Nathan (Erica) Rodgers; daughter, Danielle (Eddie, Jr.) Tapp; and seven grandchildren, Ethan, Collin, Caroline, Trevor, Logan, Raegan, and Kinsley; four brothers; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Bandy Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Sisk officiating. Visistation will be Monday 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Nortonville
