Ethel James, 62, 7917 Stacey Rd., Sandusky, died Wednesday at Providence Hospital after a lenghthy illness.
Born in Inez, Ky, she was a member of Sandhill Freewill Baptist Church, Sandusky.
Surviving are her husband, Melvin, to whom she was married 43 years; a daughter, Rose Ring, Sandusky; four sons, Donald, Thomas, Darrell and Carl, all of Sandusky; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Rose Graham, Elton, MD; and Mrs. Obra (Alma) Horn, Inez, KY; four brothers, Chester Fitch, Marion, Ohio; Virgil Fitch, Sandusky; and Wayne Fitch and Kirl Fitch, both of Inez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Della (Bowen) Fitch; an infant son, Lowell; and a brother, Vernon.
