He owned and operated the Wheeler Photo Company which was opened in 1985.
He and his brother, Tim, were the second generation operators of Wheeler's Flower and Garden Shop.
Glavis was an avid traveler of the Old West and especially enjoyed Route 66 whether by car or his beloved motorcycle.
He is survived by his fiance, Linda Mills: two sons, Brandon and Tyson Wheeler of Elwood; a brother, Tim and wife, Diane Wheeler of Elwood; and several nieces and nephews, who live in the surrounding area.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jerry.
