Myrtle P. Taylor
  RICHFIELD — Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Myrtle Elizabeth Peterson Taylor, passed away September 24, 1989, in Richfield, Utah at the age of 100.
  Mrs. Taylor was born June 28, 1889, Glenwood, Utah, to P. C. B. and Anne Kristina Mortensen Peterson. She moved with her family to Richfield in 1908. She married Robert A. Taylor, December 14, 1910, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in Fremont until 1944, when they returned to Richfield. Mr. Taylor died July 22, 1978. Mrs. Taylor was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in all auxiliaries. She was President of the Relief Society, Fremont Ward, for 8 years. Served as Counselor in the Richfield 4th Ward Relief Society. Served as Ward Clerk in Fremont for four years, while her husband was Bishop. She was an excellent cook and seamstress.
  She was the mother of 12 children, nine of whom are still living, they include: Thora and Ernest Kammeyer, Roy; Alta Albrecht, Fremont; Marjorie Ainsworth, Richfield; Rula and Mark Turner, Lyman; Shirley and Kay Oldroyd, Loa; Betty and Dean Anderson, Kearns; Bobbie and Sheldon Christensen, Annabella; NaDean and Gwendon Hatch, Layton; Allen and Louise Taylor, West Valley City; 39 grandchildren; 122 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister, A. K. Peterson and Elva Bracken, both San Diego, California. Preceded in death by three daughters, Myrtle, Anna and Ruth Taylor.
  Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 27, 1 p.m., in the Richfield 8th LDS Ward Chapel, 10 South 200 East, Richfield. Friends may call for viewing Tuesday evening, at the Springer-Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, 260 North 400 West, 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday 11-12:30 p.m. Burial Richfield Cemetery.
