Johnnie Ruth Coada Shinpaugh, 80, of Maryville passed away June 15, 2010. She was born and raised in Cades Cove, Tenn., to the late John C. and Mary Jane Cable Coada. Her siblings gone on before her are brothers, Ray, Roy, Leon, and Jerry (JT) Coada; and sister, Gladys June Jones. Survivors include daughters, Pam (Doug) Moretz, and Cheryl-Victoria (Rick) Simoneaux; grandchildren, Danyal Burns (Bruce) Hilliard, Celena (Jon) Simerly, Amanda (Jonah) Ruddy, Adam Moretz, James Shinpaugh, and Sabrina Harmon; great-grandchildren, Sienna Simerly and Tristen Ruddy; sisters, Fay Johnson and Mary Ruth (John) Hunt. She also leaves her extended family, the staff and residents on 1 South at Asbury Place. Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home with Maryville Police Department Chaplain Lonnie Garner officiating.
