Naomi Delilah Flamm Ruby, 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Salt Lake City, Utah, died November 9, 2014.

Naomi was born in Huntley, MT on June 9, 1925 to Jacob Herbert and Sarah Delilah Flamm. She was the only girl and the youngest of seven children, born three minutes after her twin brother, Norman. Naomi grew up in Huntley and after graduation from high school moved to Brigham City, UT. She worked at Bushnell General Hospital where she had the honor of being the private secretary to the commanding general. She later worked in Salt Lake City at the Bureau of Reclamation.

Naomi married Arthur S. Ruby in 1945. They enjoyed 69 years of marriage. Naomi loved ballroom dancing with Art and was active with many dancing organizations.

Naomi is survived by her husband, Art, of Little Rock, AR; her daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Doug Goodwin of Little Rock; granddaughters and their husbands, Christina and Trent Knight of Fayetteville, AR and Laura and Daniel Halsted of Columbia, SC; and great-grandchildren: Zach Knight, Reece Knight, Grayson Halsted, and Delaney Halsted.

A private graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2014. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., Wednesday, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211, (501)224-8300.
