He was born August 11, 1935, in Waynesburg, PA a son of Grover C. Kiger and Hannah Belle Parkinson Kiger.
A lifelong resident of Greene Co, Mr. Kiger worked at Data Flow in Waynesburg and as a custodian at Central Greene School District, where he retired at age 65.
He was a veteran, having served in National Guard and then the US Army.
Surviving are three sisters, Mary and Sandria Kiger and Lorraine Wewber, all of Waynesburg; two brothers, Grover Allen"Seaweed" Kiger of Waynesburg and Don E. Kiger of Streetsboro, OH; a niece Donna Lynne Greene of Iron Station, NC, a nephew, Terrance Albert Weber of Ravenna, OH.
Deceased are his longtime companion, Ruth Nichols, and a sister, Gladys June Kiger.
Services will be held at Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home with burial following at Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, PA--Observer-Reporter November, 2006.
