Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Gene Pruitt, 53, of Bastrop will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Pruitt, a Field Supervisor at Pulpmill Services, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at his residence. He loved to hunt and was a member of River Hunting Club.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirlean Marie Pruitt; father-in-law, Odell Marsh.
Mr. Pruitt is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Michelle Pruitt; son, Cody Seth Pruitt; fiancee' Christine Tomlinson; father, William Leon Pruitt; sister, Shirley Pruitt and Jack Middleton all of Bastrop; brother, Leon Pruitt and wife Cathy of Gulfport, Miss.; and a precious Grandbaby on the way.
