OLD SCOTCH RESIDENT DIES AT ROSCOE HOME
Roscoe, Ill., April 15 - David Andrews, a well known resident of Roscoe, died here at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. He was born in Argyleshire, Scotland, in 1827 and came to America in 1842. He was married in 1855 to Miss Helen Ralston of Argyle, Ill.
He was a machinist and lived in Beloit many years and was a member of the Baptist church of that city. He had lived in Roscoe five years. For 20 years he had been an invalid. The funeral will be from the Roscoe residence Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, the Rev. Young of the Roscoe Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in the Scotch settlement.
He is survived by the widow and four children, Mrs. G. L. Lane of Beloit, Mrs. W. E. Hunter of Wilmington, Ill., Mrs. John Nygren and Wm. R. Andrews of Rockford.
