Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Ophelia Hopkins, 65, of Oak Grove, LA will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, November 10, 2014 at Trinity Baptist Church, Oak Grove, LA with Rev. Rayburn McLarrin officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Crossett, AR under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Oak Grove.
Juanita Ophelia Hopkins was born February 16, 1949 in Bonita, LA; and passed on Friday, November 7, 2014 at her home in Oak Grove, LA
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Myrtle Evans, brother, Otto Hammonds, and sister-in-law, Gladys Hammonds.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Lawrence E. Hopkins of Oak Grove; two children, Catherine Munhollon and husband, Jay, Jr. of Oak Grove, and Richard Hopkins and wife, Angela of Oak Grove; four grandchildren, Michael Munhollon and wife, Roxanne of Sterlington, Kayla Johnson and husband, Travis of Springfield, MO, Hunter Hopkins and Harrison Hopkins; two great-grandchildren, Ainsley Grayce Munhollon and Isabella Rose Johnson; a sister, Sylvia Lady and husband, Don of Morris, OK; two brothers, Huey Hammonds and wife, Hilda of Bastrop, and Collins Hammonds and wife, Tiny Mae of Bastrop; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Deacons of Trinity Baptist Church.
