William Branham

William G. Branham, 64, of 225 October St., Hanover, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at the King's Daughters' Hospital.

He was born May 3, 1940, in Switzerland County, the son of James Edward Branham and Blanche Ritchie. He retired in 2004 after 40 years employment in the food service department at the Madison State Hospital. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; and of the Retired Indiana Public Employees Association.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth A. Sanders Branham; two daughters, Debra S. Coffey of Madison and Denise L. Branham of Hanover; one son, John E. Branham of Edinburgh; one sister, Shirley Branham of Indianapolis; two brothers, Donald E. Branham of Madison and Robert Branham of Milton, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Branham Jr.; and one sister, Frances Branham.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Michigan Road, with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home Hanover Chapel.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Humanitarian Aid Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Contribution envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
