MOOSE - Mrs. Della E., 100, Johnstown R.D.2, died Aug. 31, 1985, at Laurel Crest Manor. Born Sept. 28, 1884, in Somerset Country, daughter of Jonathan and Susan (Pugh) Barkley. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James; sons, Clarence, Robert and Clyde; brothers, Adolph and Willis; and sisters, Mary Johnson, Charlotte Hoffman, Nora Weaver and Carrie Stull. Survived by son, Alvin J., Johnstown R.D.2; also grandchildren, Harvey L. and Barbara Fry; eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at George Funeral Home, Salix, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Mannie Dietz. Interment, Maple Spring Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
