William J. Jones Died Sunday Night
William J. Jones, a native of Madaria, Wales, died at his home, 480 Seventh avenue, Sunday night following a heart attack. Mr. Jones the son of William and Mary Jones was born June 21, 1863. He came from Wales in 1888 and had since resided here.
He was well known in Marion, being a cemetery worker. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. P.F. Schultz of Marion, Mrs. John Williams of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. V.E. Glasgow of Milwaukee; also three brothers, Edward Jones of Marion and John Jones of Iowa Falls.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at ten o'clock in the Yocom chapel, conducted by the Rev. C.J. Biddle, pastor of the Christian church. Interment was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
