Mrs. Schultz Dies.
Joyce Schultz, 83, widow of Peter F. Schultz, died Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. at her home, 1033 Seventh street, Marion, after an illness of several weeks.
Born in Wales Dec. 28, 1869, she came to Linn county 65 years ago. She was married Oct. 2, 1890, in Marion. Mr. Schultz died April 15, 1940.
Mrs. Schultz was a member of the Marion Christian chruch and of Marion chapter 183, O.E.S. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. T. Arthur Newman, Marion; two sons, John W., Fort Madison, and Lumir Schultz, New Orleans; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Jones, Pasadena, and Ned Jones, Marion; and a sister, Mrs. V.E. Glasgow, Milwaukee.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Murdoch chapel by the Rev. Richard Goins. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
