Miss Leah Pearce, 63, of 1817 N. Indiana Ave., was dead on arrival at St. Francis Hospital yesterday.
Born in Peoria Sept. 28, 1901, she was a daughter of Daniel B. and Margaret Carroll Pearce. She was formerly employed in the notions department at Bergner's Store.
Surviving are one brother, Edwin Pearce of Peoria; and two sisters, Mrs. Nelle Wiltz of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Charles (Nan) Droll of Chillicothe. One brother preceded her in death.
