Adolph Kossel, 962 Ninth street, passed away Monday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock. Deceased was ill for about two weeks and death was caused by pneumonia. He was a contractor by trade.

The survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emma Kossel; three daughters, Emma, Isabella and Frieda; two sons, Andrew and Leonard; and one sister, Matilda Lange of this city.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at the Sacred Heart church. Rev. M. J. Schmitz will officiate. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart cemetery. The pallbearers were three members each of the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Sacred Heart Society, Albert Kloiber, John Drexler, Herman and John Miller, Alois Kempinger and Frank Drexler. There was also a delegation present from each society. Those from out of town were Edward Kossl, a brother of the deceased, of Sister Bay, Wis., and Charles Sonnleitner of Appleton Wis.
