Glenn E. Meighen, aged 36, well known resident of Wind Ridge, was found dead at his home late Wednesday night, March 20, 1940. It is believed he had been dead since about 8 o'clock.
A son of John Meighen, deceased, and Mrs. Lucinda Gordon Meighen, who survives, and with whom he resided, Mr. Meighen was born August 16, 1904, in Richhill Township and spent all his life in the Wind Ridge community. He was graduated from the Richhill Township High School in 1920, and from Washington & Jefferson College in 1927. He was never married.
Besides his mother, he leaves the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Lucy H. Porter, of Washington, Pa.; Mark Meighen, of West Alexander; Frank W Meighen, of Waynesburg; John L. Meighen, of Dormont; Mrs. Kathryn J. Minton, of Graysville; Robert P. Meighen, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3; James L. Meighen, clerk of the Greene County courts, Waynesburg, and Mrs. Adalyn E. Thomas, of Washington, Pa.
