Mrs. Cecilie Adamec, the widow of William Adamec, died last Thursday at her home on Locust Avenue, Bohemia. Mrs. Adamec was born in Czechoslovakia 69 years ago.
Mrs. Adamec was a member of the local Rainbow Lodge No. 171, St. Ann’s Altar Society and the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Democratic Club.
She is survived by her son, William J.E. Adamec, Jr., four grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Albina Nocar, of Bohemia, and a brother, Alois Kunta, of Czechoslovakia.
The Democratic Club held its memorial services at the Adamec Funeral Chapel last Friday evening and the Rainbow Lodge and Altar Society held their services preceding the recitation of the rosary at the chapel Sunday evening.
A high requiem mass was offered Monday morning in St. John Nepomucene’s R.C. Church by the Rev. Father Reuss. Interment was in the family plot in St. John’s Cemetery.
