Ninilchik resident D'Rinda K. Cotton, 59, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna following a lengthy illness.

D'Rinda was born Jan. 17, 1953 in Texas. She moved to Alaska in 1999 and resided in Ninilchik.

She enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, knitting and quilting. She also did many things with the Ninilchik Senior Center.

"D'Rinda was a loving and caring person. She was always there when you needed her. She was an amazing mother, wife, grandmother (meme) and sister. She had lots of friends and family members that are doing to truly miss her a lot." Her family wrote.

D'Rinda was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Toomer, father, Elvin Moseley and son, Keith Cotton.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Cotton of Ninilchik; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Greg Fann of Kenai; sister, Laquitta Mancuso of Anderson, Texas; brother, Cecil Moseley of Pasadena, Texas; and grandchildren, Keilan, Mackenzie and Alyssa Fann all of Kenai.
