Mary B. Chelena, 85, of Palmetto, Fla., formerly of Fredericktown, died Friday, October 11, 1996, in Florida.

Mary Brenzovich Chelena, 85, of 2012 Wellon Ranch Road, Parrish, Fla. Formerly of Fredericktown and Montclair, N.J., died Friday, October 11, 1996, in Florida.
She was born September 10, 1911, in Donora, a daughter of Alex and Helen Chuma Brenzovich.
She was past-president of the St. Nicholas Ladies Guild in Brownsville and past chairperson of the March of Dimes in Fredericktown.
She was instrumental in raising money for the war memorial honor roll, which was erected in Fredericktown.
Surviving are one son, Theodore Chelena of Parish, Fla.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Palmo of Fredericktown and Susan Knepp of Clarksville; one brother, Michael Brenzovich of Dry Tavern; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Michael Chelena, who died September 22, 1981; two brothers, Andrew and George Brenzovich; and one sister, Ann Segedy.
