Daughter of Ingnat and Marie (Bardzjak) Chuma. Born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, in the village of Suchyj located in the Carpathian Mountains (present day Ukraine). Wife of Alex Brenzovich and mother to John "Ivan" Brenzovich, Mary (Brenzovich) Chelena, George Brenzovich, Andrew Brenzovich, Michael Brenzovich, Ann (Benzovich) Segegy, Helen (Brenzovich) Palmo, and Susan (Brenzovich) Knepp.

Obituary Transcription:

Mrs. Helen Brenzovich, age 53 years, wife of Alex Brenzovich, died at her home in North Fredericktown, Wednesday, October 6, 1937, at 2:20 p.m., after an illness of 12 years. She had been bedfast for the past seven years with paralysis. She was a member of St. Nicholas G.C. Church of Brownsville.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children: Mrs. Mary Chelena, Andrew, Mike, Anna, Helen and Susan, all at home. A sister and two brothers, who live in Europe, also survive ad does one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m., at the home, followed by a second service in St. Michaels R.C. Church at Fredericktown with the Rev. John Sokol officiating. Interment will be in the St. Nicholas Cemetery at Fredericktown.

Death ended a 12 year illness yesterday at 2:20pm for Mrs. Helen Brenzovich. 53 wife of Alex Brenzovich of North Fredericktown. She had been bedfast for seven years with paralysis, had lived in the tri-county area for 25 years and was a member of St. Nicholas G. C. church of Brownsville.

Surviving are her husband and these children: Mrs. Mary Chelena, Andrew, Mike, Anna, Helen and Susan at home. A sister and two brothers live in Europe. There was one grandchild.
