Note that the Rachel that married James Reeves was Rachel Dare, not Rachel Smith. The marriage took place in 1792. There is no possible way that William Reeves could be the son of Rachel Smith Fitz Randolph Reeves since she didn't marry Thomas until 1800, a year after the passing of Jonathan Fitz Randolph in late 1798/99.
