He was born Aug. 9, 1982 in Terre Haute, Indiana, son of Thomas J. and Mary Beth Pomerenke Riley.
Surviving are his mother; his father; his sister, Meghan (Brian) Jackson; nephew, Caden Jackson and several aunts and uncles, including Bob (Roger Duenas) Pomerenke and Judy (Art) Richard and many cousins.
He was a 2000 graduate of Normal Community High School and attended Southern Illinois University and Rock Valley Community College.
He was formerly employed at State Farm Insurance Cos. in Bloomington.
